Two weeks after initial CPR training in 1992, Rick's dad passed away despite his early CPR and advanced care that came later. Rick became a CPR instructor in 1997. He has trained over a thousand students a year ever since! Rick has had about a dozen former students who shared that they have been able to help save a life. Rick feels that although these student success stories will not bring back his dad, it does fuel his resolve to continue to make a difference for others.
