Filmmakers needed! Learn digital filmmaking and video production hands-on experience working as a film crew under the guidance of a filmmaker. Groups will work as a team to plan and film a music video. The classroom will be transformed into a mini-studio and students will have access to video editing software, tripods, iPads, art supplies and other technological tools. The price of the class is $169. Save $10 by registering more than 30 days in advance.

SNACKS: Please send a snack with your child to eat during this class.
MEDICATION: If your child needs medication (epi-pen, inhaler) have them bring it to the class.
BEFORE/AFTER CARE: If your child is enrolled in a morning class, Before-Care is available starting at 7:45am. After-Care is available from 4:00-5:00pm. All students must be picked up by 5:00pm. There is no charge or sign up needed for Before/After Care.

Petra DAHERPetra is a filmmaker, photographer, and media education instructor who specializes in documentary film production, digital storytelling, and photography. Petra's award-winning work has been seen at film festivals, on the Internet, and on public and educational television. Her photography has been exhibited in galleries and published nationally on a variety of media outlets. She received a bachelor's degree from Michigan State University's College of Arts and Letters and earned her vocational teacher certification in Radio and Television Production from Western Michigan University. She has taught Video Production, Photography, Filmmaking, and World Cinema to people of all ages. Petra has a passion for sharing her love of visual storytelling and is excited to offer filmmaking classes at Lansing Community College Community Education.
