Course Description

Have you ever wondered how metal sculptures are created? No welding experience is required to learn the basics and start creating beautiful metal artwork or useful tools. Experienced welders come learn to use your skills in a completely different way. You choose your project and LCC Welding Faculty, Jeff Seelye, will help guide you through the process. Basic supplies are provided, additional supplies may need to be purchased by the student and will be dependent on the chosen project. Students must provide their own safety equipment and have it for the first day of class: welding gloves, wear preferably 100% cotton long pants (no synthetics), wear safety glasses. Optional: your own welding jacket and helmet. This class is perfect for current welding students or anyone who would like to create art with metal.
