This course is done in a Hybrid format; both online and face-to-face. In the online American Heart Associate (AHA) module, participants will learn to promptly recognize several life-threatening emergencies.

In the face-to-face classroom module, participants will learn to give high-quality chest compressions, deliver appropriate ventilations, and provide use of an AED. This training reflects the most up-to-date science and education from the American Heart Association Guidelines for CPR and Emergency Cardiovascular Care (ECC).

Notes:

This is a hybrid course. Once enrolled, participants will receive registration information allowing them to access the American Heart Association (AHA) online module. Once this access code has been provided, no refunds will be able to be provided.

Students will receive an email with instructions to activate the hybrid online component of this course, an American Heart Association (AHA) module. Students MUST print certificate from AHA module and bring to skills practice face to face classroom portion of this hybrid program.

Bill has been teaching CPR and First Aid for over 30 years. He is a licensed EMT, who also teaches in the EMT Academy at LCC. He has taught private CPR courses for 30 years as well. Bill considers it a personal and professional goal to teach lifesaving skills to as many people as possible.
