Creative Welding and Metalwork provides the opportunity to learn new skills and create projects with metal.
Designed to accommodate those with no welding experience as well as those who have been welding many years. Students choose their own project and LCC Welding Faculty Jeff Seelye helps guide the process.
Topics covered include basic instruction of welding that can be self-paced.
Processes and techniques will be demonstrated including layout and fabrication tips, blacksmithing and forging, drawing out, tapers, scrolls, bending and upsetting.
Basic supplies are provided; additional supplies may be purchased by the student and will be dependent on the chosen project.
