|Daniel Dykstra||Dan holds a Masters Degree in Public Administration from Western Michigan University, a Bachelors Degree in Engineering Technology/Management from Saginaw Valley State University, and an Associate’s Degree in Architecture from St. Clair County Community College. Dan has extensive experience in government administration, regulatory issues, and law, as well as technical experience in engineering, building construction, health and safety, and fire safety. He has developed industry connections throughout Michigan, and has done extensive public speaking. He is also well versed in creation and facilitation of educational training programs for a wide variety of audiences. Dan has obtained certification in the Myers-Briggs Types I & II Indicator Instruments (MBTI), and has been trained in application of Human Synergistics International’s Lifestyles Inventory, Group Styles Inventory, Culture Inventory and Leadership Impact tools.|

I have robust experience in Education, Diversity, Change Management, Aviation and Banking industries. I have proven to be a team player with strong transformational leadership talents combined with finely tuned analytical and practical skills, strong presentation skills, and able to work well with members of all levels of management.|
|Maurice NELSON||My name is Maurice Nelson. First, I would like to acknowledge I am a proud alum of Lansing Community College! Further, I am retired civil servant with the state of Michigan and current educator with in the Lansing area for the past 10 years. Notably, my professional experiences include teaching, behavioral specialist, mentoring, and coaching. Additional community experiences; supervisor, administrator, school board member, business owner, local church member community activist. Currently, a graduate student at Capella University, majoring in psychology (family psychology), with a bachelor's in business administration (management and organizational development), and associates in applied science (criminal justice). In fact, after completing my internship as a school psychologist, my plans are to continue as an adjunct at LCC, educating young people so they can better their lives.|
|Laura SHOWERS||I am Laura Showers, a professional instructor who has dedicated her life to education while raising a family. I have a bachelor's degree in Education with a minor in Psychology from the University of Wyoming. I also have a master's degree in Education with an Art emphasis from Lesley University in Cambridge, MA. I have taught in both public and private schools across the US, grades pre-k through 8th grade, in all core subject areas for over twenty years. I have extensive studies in Psychology, Art incorporation, Smartboard technology, thematic teaching, building literacy in the Common Core, and I am Gifted and Talented endorsed. I have recently spent time testing for NAEP (the nation's report card), and am currently a Math teacher trainer for Imagine Learning, a computer aided instruction program. I own a small loose-leaf tea business and offer tea education to the community. Through Lansing Community College, I hope to give students of all ages exciting educational opportunities outside of the traditional classroom. I want to fill the community's needs by offering unique and fun extensions that satisfy inquiry; building and growing students toward a life time of individualized learning.|
Jen Wilton has been facilitating corporate training for 8 years. As a Learning and Talent Development Specialist at MSUFCU, Jen designed and implemented training in the areas of Compliance, Diversity, Products and Services, Business Ethics, Harassment Prevention, Safety and Security, Leadership Development and Competencies.
At Dart Container, Jen supported values-based training initiatives for new employees and taught electives courses as well. A few offerings included Personal Accountability, Preventing Workplace Violence, Respect, Embracing Change, Conflict Resolution, Stress Management, Presentation Skills, Effective Meetings, and is certified to teach Social Styles.
Jen earned her MBA at Northwood University’s Devos Graduate School of Management in 2015. She enjoys creating a safe learning space that allows individuals and groups practice new skills relevant to work and life success.
